I know this sounds nuts, at least to me. But then, I am relatively

Is there any way to get one proof of a 4 color file with 2 different
icc profiles? Here's what I am trying to do. I have built two
profiles of post treatment conditions. One ICC profile shows the
effect of gloss lamination on the color of the piece, the other ICC
profile shows the effect of a dull varnish. We apply the dull
varnish over the gloss lamination. They way we apply the dull
varnish allows us to hold 175lpi screen. The typical piece we
produce will have gloss lamination showing through the dull varnish.
I am trying to devise a way to replicate this on a single proof. Any
ideas?
If you convert various components to your output profiles in
Photoshop, then combine and print without color management, you can
get as many different profiles and rendering intents in a single sheet
as you want. There are other ways, but that one offers the most
control... gets a bit trickier when its a proof, but still doable.
