I was using it to find out the monitor profiles in use for each one connected and return the result to another application.

ColorSyncScripting was removed. The things you could do with it you can instead do with the command line tool 'sips' and to a lesser extent the scripting addition Image Events. Take a look at the scripts in /Library/ColorSync/Scripts, they use sips.
