Last I used mine, I could calibrate, then do several single patch
readings in a row just leaving it on the tile, and watch it drift. You
could get back by calibrating again, then repeat the behavior.
I think this developed, so mine may have been faulty. But I had recently
had it repaired for the 2nd or 3rd time, requiring sending it overseas,
and just couldn't depend on it any more.
Something I always liked about it though, I always assumed those bright
pulses could see into deep densities better. Still have it somewhere....
