I have not done actual tests, so I cannot be as certain as my colleagues here appear to be.
Is there actual evidence which demonstrates convincingly and conclusively that substituting one video card for another on a given CPU attached to a given monitor always and inevitably changes the signals that are sent to the display in a way that is clearly perceived by an observer with average color perception?
Mind you, I am not asking for professions of faith that this is so, so simply expressing outrage at the very question or repeating more loudly what has already been stated will not do, as far as I'm concerned. I am asking for evidence that can be shared and evaluated independently, so that reasoned conclusions can be derived.
I would do the tests myself if I had the time and access to the needed resources, but I don't at this moment, and, as I already mentioned, I have never thought of checking this for myself before either.
Decisions on the part of anyone on this forum to share such evidence would be greatly appreciated.
