FWIW, I've been using the IDEAlliance GRACoL2006_Coated1v2 profile
for the last several annual reports I've shot and have had wonderful
success. Of course, for G7 printers, it's a breeze. But even for
"just send me CMYK" printers, it's been good. If the printer says he
wants 300% max ink, then I switch to the #3 profile. Haven't sent out
the SWOPv2 profile in a while.
100C, 100M is definitely purple on my screen. 100C, 75M is a nice
rich blue - just what I'd expect.
Mixing paint is fun!! :-)
