That is very true as well, Roger, but in my case I was referring
specifically to the difficulty of evaluating a color on a profiled display
in isolation from renditions of other colors that are realistically
achievable on press. To do that on such a display, I was proposing using
either the soft proof function of Photoshop, or Lab files converted from the
tagged CMYK numbers via the AbsCol RI.
