Doyle's got it right. The options are lined out so there is no
accessing them.
And it's not a case of the wrong Black ink being loaded, though that
is a good suggestion. If I use CS4 to print everything works normally.
I could try the 32 bit option, but my experience with CS4 and this
printer driver was that saved presets did not work very well. That is
if I saved a preset and then chose it for printing another image when
I double checked the settings they were usually not right. I remember
lots of discussion about that issue a couple of years back.
One person suggested to me off list that it's a matter of Epson not
updating the printer driver for an older printer. That sounds like the
best explanation, but kind of a pain too. I've had the 2200 for a few
years, but other than the printer driver issue it works fine for me
and I'd really like to not have to buy a new printer.
BTW regarding the rant, my guess is that Edmund was trying to be
funny, but it kind of fell flat. I appreciate the attempt at levity
though.

Lined out and grayed out are two different things. When the poster
referred to lined out I am assuming he is getting the lines through
the second section of the driver drop down list which indicated he
is running his app in 64-bit mode but the driver does not support 64-
bit mode, at least it does not let you select these sections in the
driver.
Grayed out means the choices you made in the apps print dialog will
gray out default selection using Apple's new print path. Like when
choosing app manages color printing "Color Matching" will default to
ColorSync and CM should default to OFF. Of course with Canon iPF
drivers the app must be listed in the drivers special casing file
for it to default to No Color Correction.

Lined out? You see them but they are grayed out (all?). Some could
be depending on the black ink selected but all? What version of the
driver? Have you tried removing from Print & Fax and reloading?
