The fact that it has already been properly color managed by the person that created the file (and who HAS closely compared the file to the actual art) and can be printed as is... or properly converted using the embedded profile. I never deliver any sort of digital file without a guide print so it's not like the recipient is flying completely blind. If their process yields something distinctly different than the guide print then we'll figure out where the error is (very rarely occurs). I could count on my fingers then number of times I've included a target in a delivered image over the past half dozen years or so. I have a far better track record of well reproduced files when the recipient trusts my color management than when someone tries to correct to an included target. I always used those targets in film days... never with digital unless I'm dragged kicking and screaming to do so.
