I'm trying to grab a frame from a QuickTime movie (.mov, with H.

If you have a copy of iMovie -i confirmed this in v3.03- it will a
create a Still Frame, under the Edit menu, and also under the File
menu you can, Save Frame As. Once you have the still frame saved you
can open it in Preview or Photoshop and then assign your original
correct profile. Hope this helps.
