To be perfectly clear, not what I'm saying. Mine is a call not to forget the
importance of both numbers and visual feedback, and to avoid Luddite
tendencies to underplay the relevance of correct procedures.
(I know that it's not what you do, far from it -- but I'm making a general
point here.)

An obvious point to me as well.

I fear that, as long as we are in the grip of this recession, we're not
going to see a lot of ICC CM innovations from the larger players. There is
not much money in this field to begin with, and now less than ever, given
how most users are minding their pennies.
But I'm not an economist or financial analyst, so I can always hope for some
sudden and welcome turnaround.
