Thank you, Graeme, not only for making this topic as close to utterly
incomprehensible to the rest of us as humanly possible, but also for
reminding me, and anyone else following this thread, that the deceptively
plain English which Berns uses in the quotes I provided is nothing but a
ruse to trick us into a field strewn with landmines invisible to those of us
who, unlike you, are unwary of the undeclared "spatial color synthesis
mechanisms" and some such. Wow, who knew...
Of course we will have to take your word for that. And we also won't forget
to damn Professor Berns for his fiendish deviousness. I will give him an
earful myself the next time I see him at MCSL.
Again, thank you for the valuable contribution to keeping the level of
discussion on this forum at its usual level of clarity and respect for the
other's intelligence, and for not lording over us your superior knowledge,
which the rest of us can only dream to match.
I'm done talking about this with you. The obfuscation cloud is too thick for
safe driving. One only keeps going forward at the risk of playing into the
hands of those who care about neither fairness nor clarity.
Marco Ugolini
