The problem is that neither device is a spectrophotometer, they are colorimeters which do not have the proper color matrix in them for the primaries used in the 23" Cinema Display which I'm pretty sure is LED based. A spectro will do a better job. Failing that, use the visual calibration app that comes with the OS.
