I have not checked lately, but Apple used to modify the EDID value for
the blue primary when creating the default montior profile when a
display is connected first time to a specific Mac. I reported this as
a bug and (finally after a year) I got an answer that this behavior is
by design to have a "better" profile for Apples own Cinema display.
Have you checked if this changed and the real EDID value is now used
for the profile?
Best regards
Peter
