Regarding onboard spectro's, what about the cure time that is necessary for
the ink to reach a stable density? For example, with the epson inks,
generally overnight is sufficient to wait, but according to data from Epson,
it takes about six days till full cure. So until that time the colors will
shift. This is the reason I do not use an onboard spectro, and would
rather let my ICC swatches dry overnight till scanning. I also scan them
again after six days of cure time.
