I don't want to hijack this thread or start ancillary discussions I just
want to make a comment.
I've been enjoying this thread and I appreciate all the links you guys have
provided for further reading.
Most important, I'm pleased and amazed that this discussion, while it
contains plenty of disagreement, has never degenerated into a "you said,
they said" school ground argument.
Thanks for renewing my faith that academic argument doesn't have to be
acrimonious and those of us lurking can learn a thing or two along the way.
