Sounds like general OS issues, need of routine maintenance, updating
programs or OS, or something like that. You may wish to join this Mac
User's Group for assistance. Lots of Mac geeks there with a lot of good
computer knowledge, but they aren't as color and photo savvy as the
colorsync group.

This particular site has a very long-winded treatise on keeping your Mac
humming. But, if you skip the top 90% of his article, he gives you the
quickie version at the end, called *"Routine Maintenance In Under 10
