Greetings to All
I feel sure this has been hashed over previously but I am unable to
find the solution in the archives.
I am running a 2nd monitor (NEC MultiSync P221W) with my MacBook
10.6.7. Calibrated with NEC Spectraview II. I use the MacBook as the
"Primary" monitor for menus, tools, etc. and the NEC for image work.
When I open a file (jpg-srgb for example) in Photoshop CS4 and drag it
over to the NEC the image desaturates greatly. I don't know how to
describe the amount of change but let's just say that it is quite
obvious. If it looks correct on the MacBook screen then it is
desaturated on the NEC and conversely if it appears correct on the NEC
it is oversaturated on the MacBook. Now, if I open the same image in
Preview it stays consistant across both screens...No visual change. I
am at a loss as to which monitor to "believe".
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks in Advance
David
