Hello Jan-Peter,
I would be very happy to see WERE color management is happening in iOS 4 on iPad?
All research I made (testing) with iPad colors, shows that there is no Color management for displaying picture in the Photo library browser of the iPad. I can show you "by-the-numbers". And this is why I reported this.
I’ve been able to simulate accurately all color spaces (source, screen display, and output from Mail), you can read about it on my website.
So, if there was a color management in place that reads ICC source and use it to display on iPad screen, sorry but I didn’t got it.

Hello,
iOS4 supports ICC based colormanagement, see also here:
http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/GraphicsImaging/Reference/CGColorSpace/Reference/reference.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30000949
it took me 2 minutes to find this document through Google. May be we should do a little bit more research, before we are doing statements about iPad and color management in this list.
regards
Jan-Peter
