I'm still wondering what a "chiaroscuro" effect is....and how fiddling with sliders in an attempt to "calibrate" a display visually and the term "Expert Calibration Mode" can appear in the same paragraph....and it's not even April Fool's Day.

Is the ColorSync Color Calibration unreliable for Intel iMac use? I am adjusting the luminance sliders the same way as before, matching the apples to the gray backgrounds in the calibration windows. I am not choosing dramatic differences, I am choosing to match apples and their backgrounds.
