I wrote that and I think it's pretty obvious from my report on what I was told
by the XRite moderator at the webinar, and simply by what they've been doing.
Monaco Profiler is now being discontinued and will be "legacy". They WILL NOT
support the Pulse DTP-20 in i1Profiler, but they are continuing to support in
ColorPort - as we speak, but I raised a question (not stated a fact) about how
long this support will continue, given the rate at which they are pulling stuff.

Is this true and if so, do you have some examples (I ask truly not recalling
anything recent). I mean, are there devices that ColorPort doesn’t drive today
you own and would use that supports this proposition?
I do have some ancient Spectrophotometer’s in the museum it doesn’t (ColorTron
I, SpectroCam, even a ColorSavy whatever that Inkjet printer thingie was). I
can’t think of any reason to even use em.
My old but useful Spectrolino is still supported but I have no idea of the
Keyspan USB adapter still functions under 10.6. But that’s hardly X-Rite’s
fault.
My copy of ColorPort supports 14 different instruments.
