I did some comparison tests and actually found that, among the art and
matt papers, the Hot Press series has the best Dmax.

Reading Epson's marketing materials about how amazing their Velvet Fine Art Paper is (best D-Max ever etc), I find it really surprising that they don't offer any way to linearize their printers for this specific paper type.
Both the Linearization tools and the SpectroProofer software for the x900 series printers are missing a Velvet Fine Art setting.
The next best options for linearization are Smooth Fine Art and Textured Fine Art, but I cannot find any documentation regarding overrides to the paper and/or print settings for these paper types that would make them a better match to Velvet Fine Art.
Anybody got any workarounds, or does nobody else bother with linearization for this stock (and all of the Hahnemühle papers that also recommend the Velvet Fine Art driver settings)?
