Randy, the output profile(s) for your printers should already represent the "maximum gamut" of your printers.....just plug in AdobeRGB as the RGB *source* profile and send your EFI XF RIP RGB data and it should be fine. If you have any 3CC adjustments added to the output profile I would probably remove them as those are probably profile optimizations for a CMYK press target....but they probably won't cause a problem either.
If you take a look at the media set for your printer/output device, you should be able to see the base lin and the output profile...along with any 3CC adjustments.
The reason I put "maximum gamut" in quotes is because the printer output profile SHOULD be close to max gamut....but if someone went in and set very conservative ink limits during the base linearization process, you may be printing something less than the maximum amount of color your printer can deliver.
