Marcelo,
If ALL of your images are headed to a printing process, then I see your point. But most of us, and I believe most users of Photoshop, have multiple end uses of their images. I do most of my work in ProPhotoRGB which is a very large color space and will show me very subtle changes that I make in color and tonal values, that are not necessarily as noticeable using the simulated limited color space of an offset printer, for example. I do however use soft proofing for some images that are headed to the printer as a final review and tweaking, but I personally would not want it enabled all the time. Also, since you customize your soft proofing view according to the profile of your printer or press, I don't see how it can be set to default in the on position. But perhaps someone with more UI or coding knowledge knows a way around this.

Subject: Proof Colors in Photoshop
Good morning
I was reading about Soft-proofing and I would like to know is there is any way to leave "Proof Colors" enabled as default in Photoshop.
I need to turn on the command all times that I need and for all open files.
To use Photoshop for soft-proofing, I believe that makes sense to leave this command enabled all time.
Thank you
