Excellent exercise…..good question. Well, I don’t have anything to agree with in displays.
I use a pair of MacBook Pro 8,3, 17 inch non-glare displays. One has the NEC PA271w connected. SpectraView II is the software I use with the version D i1pro hardware. This is my gold standard. For the 17 inch non-glare display, which as you all know, is not valid for any work, I use the i1 Profiler with the same hardware. Of course they will never ever agree!.
The other workstation I use the same hardware, except version A, for the MacBook Pro 8,3 display, with i1 Profiler. The second monitor is “cheap”. Only for real-estate. It also gets profiled…same hardware and software.
What’s the point? Glad you asked. I don’t know. Just chiming in on what I use.
There would be no point in the two MacBook Pro’s agreeing since they are not valid for anything. They just might agree.
