Yes, they really goofed on that one....I got severely burned the first time I used it. :-)
Those familiar with MonacoPROFILER have long been accustomed to setting the black start based on L*.....but at least the good folks that wrote MonacoPROFILER had the decency to flip the L* scale so L*100 was on the left and L*0 was on the right....and gave us a graphical look at the K curve as we moved the slider. Sure, i1Profiler gives us the K curve shape....but you have to explicitly ask for it. At least with mine, it keeps defaulting to putting up one of the Roman 16 images as if that's going to be useful to me.....give me the K curve shape as a default instead.
Of all the issues that could've been addressed with i1Profiler, I don't recall the black start UI ever being a major complaint....until now.
