I don't want to start a whole debate about this but the voltage that is fed to the lamp makes all the difference in the world as to what color temperature the lamp emits exactly. The bulb is rated for 12V. So plus or minus that voltage has a direct relationship to the chromaticity of the emitted light. If you have access to a variable voltage regulator this is plain to see.

I remember I measured it with Eye One Display 2 long ago and felt a bit disappointed (I didn't know what to expect then). It read 4400-4500K, I had got the 4700K ones.
