Please go on! Would this be due to the assumption of say D50 for the profile, or the reference data (which came from where?) assumes something similar? IOW, the conversation has touched briefly on the scene illuminate but I suspect this is a hugely important factor. Moving away as far from memory color and resulting produced accuracy, how can Colorimetric Accuracy in the Field be produced without measuring something in that field including the light? Or that doesn't matter?
