You ask a great question and I have to ask: Are you not MEASURING the
reproduction? In the past you have used dE as both a sword and a
shield. So, my question is this: Is the weight to go to machine-
measured colorimetry or perception?
It seems to me that your position has evolved over the years to a
place that's undefined. You seem to want it both ways - which I
believe is also true of the ICC initiative from the get-go. So, which
is it? How is color accuracy now defined a la Andrew?
