I have to keep an active copy of CS2, since I still use Golive 8 to maintain some websites, and also Photoshop 9 to occasionally run the ProfilerPro and BasiCColor Scan+ plugins. Last night, as I checked the functionality, after a third launch of Photoshop, came the dreaded message stating that some of the license information was missing, and I needed to reactivate the software via the web server. Since the service isn't available any more, doing so returned the error message, and the Space Monkey. I have now things back to order from a backup, but I suspect that if I connect the computer to the Internet, some agent will want to check out the Adobe website at some point and the same thing will occur. I know that Adobe has provided a fixed version http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/ , but it's only English language as far as I can see. Would there be another way to "preserve" my localized version and keep it active, by trashing some "police" files for instance?
