Edmond,
I saw show on Africa recently. one thing it focused on was the prevalence of mobile phones, even in the poorest shanty towns. Even shepherds used them to coordinate their activities. On a personal basis I have just returned from South America. I travelled rough and cheap through Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. One thing that amazed me was the prevalence of FREE WI FI. EVERY cafe, restaurant, pub, bar had it for the asking. In 8 weeks I stayed at one hotel that wanted to charge me for Internet access (and it wasn't a cheap hotel). I went down the street. Wherever there was electricity there was WI FI. All you needed was a device. I could FaceTime with my family from almost anywhere. I wondered why I don't have the same access here in my wealthy country. The cloud looks a goer to me.
