Exactly!
The most important of the icon views is the one that isn't colour managed properly.
It looks like the OS is converting to GenericRGB and then assigning the display profile -- that's the easy way to get a similarly wrong result in Photoshop.
Did nobody at Apple ask themselves why the largest icons look *nothing* like the images they are built from (or the same image in the Get Info dialog)?
