The client's original art is on a large artist's easel. Don't have a copy stand.
I use "cross polarization" as well, using my Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II with the EF f/2.8 100mm "L" macro lens. I follow up with Raw Photo Processor 64's camera profiling system. Target included in capture is the CCPassport 24 patch. After profiling I use the Kodachrome 64 emulation included in RPP 64. Client is usually with me (not always) and sees the results on the display. When finished, the only thing left is cropping in PS CS5. Then print to substrate of client's choice. I don't dare change luminosity or color.
I will add, when using ACR with all the profiling techniques available, I could not get the final image file as accurate as with RPP 64 RPP 64 is not for everyone.
