Not according to Mr. Gill:
There are more ways to do it than that. ArgyllCMS FWA compensation
will give you M1 without a UV source (the 'A' source is sufficient).
This means you can do M1 & M2 using a Spectrolino or i1Pro Rev A-D.

Is there another automated chart reader in the pipeline to replace the
Spectroproofer and iSis devices?
