Especially important in Lightroom and in Develop module because previews are treated differently in other modules to speed things up.
Also, depending on the version of LR, it doesn't deal with V4 ICC Profiles well.

As long as you realize the numbers are wrong.

And there's the rub, in ICC aware applications, they should look the same and if they don't, DCM doesn't really tell you anything I can understand is useful. I'm seeing it report two differet sets of values from Photoshop vs. Preview when the two appear the same.
