Par for the course from X-rite these days. I suppose no one inside or out of the company tested this before released. And when you do get an update, I'd love to know if you find the new beta features in i1P's Patch Viewer
anything useful or find it as ugly and buggy as what I see on the Mac.
The UI mess I see could have been fixed by an engineer in a day I suspect. How it got released in this state is sad and shocking. Maybe we'll see a 1.6.2 release to fix this by years end, I'm not holding my breath.
I see nothing in this new Patch Viewer module that isn't better in legacy products like ColorPort and the 3rd party options already discussed are light years ahead. So getting back OT, if anyone here was hoping to use software for reflectance data from an i1 Pro, move ahead and ignore this new update. It's a mess. Support 3d party software endeavors!
