That's interesting, Andre. It seems that the warranty terms differ in
different parts of the world. The UK Eizo warranty terms are listed below
(from the Eizo UK website)

Yet on the Global Eizo website it does give some of these monitors a
Brightness Warranty up to 120 cd/m2. So you are probably correct, as long as
you aren't in the UK. ;)
