I think that “buried” is a good description for something that only one person has found on a list that has a large number of people moaning about printing charts :-)
And “boring’ was being charitable as there are plenty of stronger terms that can be used to describe the mess that ColorSync is — take a look at the documentation:

Maybe this is Apple’s idea of a joke?
They add a feature to ColorSync in 2011 and let Chris Cox et al slag them off for making printing without colour management *impossible* in every forum on the internet for 4 years.
