Hi Dan,
the Fiery XF “HT" drivers in “CMYK" mode do not use light inks as they control the printer channels directly, not thru an Epson driver or plugin.
HT driver in “CMYKcmkk” mode, as the name implies, make use of the respective light ink channels.
