Hi Roger,
In Section 4.3.1 - Table 1, the standard only refers to curve A for Printing
Condition 1 and to curve C for Printing Condition 5 when periodic screening is
to be used. The names of the colorants are only mentioned during the definition
of the printing sequence. “Equal TVI” is a commonly used term for the current
calibration method as opposed to the G7 method. Sometimes we do have to fill in
the blanks.

While reviewing the latest ISO-12647-2 standard, I was stumped by the
absence of an explicit specification for each process color "dot gain"? I
have read and re-read and re-re-read each relevant sections of the standard
to no avail? All there "seems" to be are references to the shape of the
curves and the polynomial used to determine the TVIs (shown in Table 9) but
nothing to the effect that there ought to be different aim values for each
process colors? I am tempted to conclude that the specified TVI numbers are
"common" to all four colors? But I hate to come up to that conclusion on my
own.
