- Thread-topic: ECI Offset Profiles—Supplement 2012-2—Surface Finishing
Dear all,
I know this is an old subject but I’ll like to obtain your opinion.
Two Offset Profiles for surface finishing are available to better anticipate
lamination post press.
And I mainly use them for soft proofing.
But they have been created on a FOGRA39 basis.
So, what happens with the so-called standard proof for the print run in FOGRA51
instead of FOGRA39 simulation?
Does the OBA in the proofing paper will change it?
Should I use a OBA free paper with ISO Coated?
Or are the differences too tiny to be seen?
Thank you.
Sincerely.
Axel ROBERT
