I’ll bet your profile uses XYZ PCS.
Try a profile which uses Lab PCS.
None of the Lab PCS scanner profiles I’ve built for my drum or flatbed scanners
will Assign with the latest versions of PS.
They work fine with old versions of PS (and have worked perfectly for years).
I just found a couple of canned Epson scanner profiles which are Lab PCS and
they won’t work either.
