I switched from the Adobe (ACE) color engine to Apple (CMM) and the problem
went away. The BETA version of Photoshop is fixed, but 25.3.1 is broken.

Oh how weird. The profiles I have that weren’t showing up in 25.2.0 have
reappeared in 25.3.1. Complicated this is.

The Assign Profile bug has been fixed. It is now up to how long Adobe will

Solution for the moment is use an older version for assign and convert.
I’m using the extended support v24.7.2 as backup.
