In this case, the input signal is at 44.1.
The user sets the switch to 48KHz.
The UA-30 converts the 44.1 signal to 48KHz before sending to host.

According to one of our engineers:
"the sampling freq. between the UA-30 and the
host is determined by the position of the
slide switch on the UA-30, not by the sampling
freq. of incoming digital audio stream via the
digital input port."

So the 48KHz report seems to be correct.
