Jeff -

So basically when I encounter a device like this, I should just loop through
the list of rates my app is happy with and take the first one the device
agrees with? What do I do about the physical device?

I could wind up with a situation where none of the selected sample rates
match. My app could be outputting at 32k the actual might be set at 44.1
and the physical might be at 48k - This doesn't even consider the input
side?

If I change the sample rate in my app I would like to change the physical
and actual rates to match if possible, correct?
I notice in Daisy that the sample rate displayed for the actual and physical
match whatever was chosen last, independant of the actual menu selection.
ie: the input format specifies the rates. If I choose one with 44.1 from the
physical side the readouts above the menus switch to 44.1 for both the
physical and actual, even if the selected format in the actual is stil 48.
Why?

Any suggestions on how best to keep these things aligned would be
appreciated?

Jim Dolan
