Oh... this is true.
I can see one device has only input streams
and the other has only output streams.

But I have a question:
What makes HAL make one device into two?

I don't think inputs and outputs are always treated as two seperate devices,
because the built-in device has both input and output streams in one.

My application builds the list of audio devices attached to Mac.
I have a few USB audio devices and they are all recognized well.

However, one of them is recognized as two devices.
Their name and manufacturer strings are just same.
Only the AudioDeviceIDs are different.
Does anybody have an idea why this is so?

one is for output - the other is for input
