The only way to know is to guestimate based on the values the Sound Clock
component is producing and the time at which you scheduled to the sound to
start playing (assuming you're using scheduledSoundCmd to play your data).

In the Core Audio world, everything is time stamped so there is a lot less
guess work as to what is going on in the various parts of the system.
