MIDI driver changes for newest CoreAudio SDK

Hello OS X Audio Devs,

My USB MIDI driver builds and runs well on 10.0.3 unless the 29 May Audio SDK
is installed. This particular driver happens to download the firmware to the
USB connected MIDI devices that it supports.

After installing the most recent Audio SDK the driver no longer builds or
runs. When attempting to use the driver, the device firmware will load on the
first attempt, but then MIDIClientCreate() does not return to the client
application for all subsequent attempts to use the driver.

What needs to change in my 10.0.3 driver in order to get the driver building
and running again with the new SDK? Any pointers to documents that will help
me fix it?

I hope that the answers to these questions are generally important to all list
members. Thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

jef
