Can we get contact info for this?
At WWDC we discussed details about seeding.
Basically you have to be a Registered Apple Developer. Your interest in
getting on the Core Audio Seeding program is appreciated - but we are only
interested in seeding people actively developing apps, etc, that use audio.
(ie. its not for the idly curious)
If you're interested in getting seeded these are some of the things that
will help you get accepted:
(1) Provide details of your company/university/etc.
(2) Provide some detail about the project you're working on - we understand
that you might be constrained in what you're prepared to disclose, so try
and give us some indication of your product/research/etc...
(3) You'll have to be a Registered Developer
(4) If you're currently really blocked by a bug/missing feature/etc... then
giving us a description of that is going on to really help your case!
Send email to
mailto:email@hidden to start this process.
At the moment the seeding program is fairly limited - this could change in
the future (hopefully) - but I would imagine the criteria for consideration
won't change.
I (or the other engineers) don't necessarily determine who goes on this
program - but we're pretty good advocates if you come from Australia (and
particularly if you barrack for Carlton! -> (Collingwood - bad luck:)))...
