new MIDI problems in CoreAudio via Java

  • Subject: new MIDI problems in CoreAudio via Java

I know discussing unreleased builds of OS X is a taboo on this list, so I will be as vague as possible.

There are publicly acknowledged problems in accessing CoreAudio MIDI via Java in 10.0.4. It was mentioned on this list that was a known problem (something about initialization synchronization between the JVM or AWT classes and CoreAudio MIDI services). Are these problems supposedly fixed in the latest developer seeds? Or if I can't legally ask that, are the 10.0.4 problems (or any 'new' ones that may or may not have appeared in recent builds... ;-) going to be fixed in the final release of 10.1?

Thanks,
Scott

PS: I'll be more specific if someone from Apple gives me the go ahead ;-)
