Audio Threads

  • Subject: Audio Threads

Perhaps this is a FAQ...

What assumptions can I make about the threads running the AudioUnits?
Are the threads high priority? I have noticed in the examples that when an
audio converter has to be installed mid run, there is no attempt to lock it first. Is that safe,
or is it done to keep the examples simple?

Thank you.
